Q. What is Cool Easy Post?
A. The Cool Easy Post is the largest free posting board online. Our
new site offers traditional "buy, sell, and trade classifieds". Among
standard categories, we have extended topics in our:
community notices, people connections, business connections, jobs-resumes,
travel, gigs, and real estate areas. The Cool Easy is the only posting board to
offer personal connections according to life-style, for better success in
connections, and the only posting board to offer live monitors, other safety
and networking opportunities for users.
In Addition to classifieds, The Cool Easy offers additional posting areas for information exchanges
for a variety of topics.
A place for : FAQ's, articles, comments, and mentoring for all types of
topics such as;
medical, politics, relationships to How-to's; to name a few.
Our site also offers extra features such as: instant messaging,
chat rooms, chat forums, and low cost hosting.
Q. Who owns Cool Easy Post? A. The Cool Easy Post is owned and operated by aka MissCindirella and a group of
family partners.
We are currently considering a couple of private investors, still remaining a
privately own business.
Q. I do not see a listed category? A. If you do not see a listed category, it might be for a good reason.
Being new online, we have many categories ready for release on our server, some
which we put up during our test marketing. We have chosen to hide
many of these categories until we have more users. We will reopen those
categories at that time.
Q. Is it Free to
post? A. Yes, our classified posting board is designed so that
individuals, families, and small businesses have a free
place to post everyday needs from sales to exchanging
information. (with the opportunity for more exposure)
Q. What is
link-abuse? A. We consider link-abuse when a poster
has multiple post for the purpose of link promotions on the
same day or in different areas. Especially in our
information exchange area where links are ONLY allowed
through display ads or only when 90%
of content in
post is helping others or asking for help. By mentoring and giving
forward, they are allowed to "MENTION" their link in our
global information exchange area. Another way link
abuse is used, is when a poster goes out of content
categories posting links. Please flag all
post just promoting websites outside of above terms of use.
Q. Are links allowed in free
postings?
A. Yes, provided you do not post it more than once a day in
classifieds. In the information exchange areas you may only add your link
in post when giving forward in other information, helping others. 90% of
content must be based on helping someone else, not posters site link. You
may Only add your link if it posted in the correct category. Please flag
those outside correct areas. EXAMPLE : opportunity under jobs & Resumes.
This is NOT ALLOWED and should be flagged. Only real jobs and resumes are
allowed, not links to promote sites or affiliate programs.
Q.
How do I flag?
A. At the top of every post there is a red flag. Just
click on the link/flag once. Each flag is counted per person, per post,
per block of IP's/email. We do this to avoid Fake
flagging so that those who flag for wrong reasons can NOT
delete post. Post are generally deleted by staff monitors.
Q. What is spamming
our board mean?
A. Think of a posting board like a newspaper. Every day is a
new paper. Spamming our board is re-posting the same day or
different locations for the same thing on same day along
with link abuse by those who only post to promote other
websites. When we find
website Marketers, we delete ALL POSTINGS BY THEM!
Q.
Can I add my links in Info Exchange areas? A.
>> Only if 90% of content is giving
forward to others outside your link info and that 90% of
content is NOT about your link. Only by mentoring
someone else can you add that link or it will be deleted!!!
Acceptable Link EXAMPLE in Info Exchange Area: Your
a plumber... Lets say you have a website. You can
write an article about pipes or how to fix a broken pipe. At
the end you can mention what you do, what area, contact, and
your link. Great . No problem.
NOT Acceptable
Link EXAMPLE in Info Exchange Area: Your a plumber. You put your
info down and link only without really giving back. Or you add info only based
on a pitch for your link only. Or its a classifieds. Its an
affiliate site or your paid to add link to our site. >> NONE of these are
acceptable.
Q. How long will my post run? (Classifieds)
A. Although most classifieds run for 30 days and alternate
until they scroll off after 30 days, some areas run shorter. The category
posting page will let you know the duration for that category at time of posting.
Q. How
long will my post run?
(Info Exchange)
A. Information Exchange is very different than other
areas. These post stay in our search for over 3 years on a global level.
This is why no re-posting the same thing from same
author is allowed or necessary.
Q. How Often can I
post in Classifieds?
A. Daily... You can post whatever you need as long as you are not
spamming our board. If you start posting same thing all
over, (spamming) not only will they all be deleted, you can
be blocked/blacklisted. Our ads are very cheap if you
need more exposure, so there is no excusing spammers.
Q. How Often can I
post in Info Exchange?
A. ONCE! NOT DAILY...
DO NOT re-post daily in info exchange or it is considered spamming our board !!!
You can post whatever you need as long as you are not
spamming our board. If you start posting same thing all
over or same thing, just re-phrasing it; not only will
staff delete all postings by you, but they can
be blocked/blacklisted. you from site. Our ads are very cheap if you
need more exposure, so there is no excusing in spamming.
Q What is community
flagging?
A. Community flagging is when you click the icon image flag
at top of a post to report that post contents or images against terms
of use.
This helps bring attention faster to our
staff monitors that they need to review said post for deletion
or whatever action that could be necessary.
In
addition, a post can be deleted automatically when many
users flag it from different IP's. NOTE >> It takes
only one flag for monitors to view, but many flags
from different IP's for community deletions to process in
order avoid unnecessary deleting.
It also keeps of aware
of any changes made to post so that users can not post one
thing only to come back and change it later. Flagged
post are viewed & reviewed constantly during the duration of
run or advertising run.
Q. I keep flagging but the post still
shows?
A. Again, it takes many post from different IP's to delete a
post. Most the time our system will tell you that you have already flagged
that post prior, so any additional flagging will not count against that post.
Simply email us the AD# and link at customer service or contact a live monitor if you feel it is an emergency.
Address this in the subject line if you email
us, "only for real serious issues". Otherwise just state reporting a
post. We will look into it in the order it is received.
Q. How do I post?
A. Simply click "post now" option throughout site. Select the location you wish to post, then the area. It will take
you automatically to the
posting form. Once submitted, verify you post by checking
your email. Once confirmed, you post will show instantly. It's that simple.
Q. Where is my confirmation email?
A. If the site has heavy traffic, give the confirmation email a few
minutes to bounce back to you.
If you still do not see it, Look in your spam email. Set your
email so that it excepts cooleasypost.com emails. Especially with self-programs
such as AOL.
Q. My links are not
linkable in email. Why?
A. Most browser email programs have no problem showing
linkable http links. Sometimes, private software programs filter the links
out, such as AOL. The links show as normal text, that is not linkable.
In such cases, you may have to copy and paste the link to your web browser to
link & confirm your post. Or set your email program to accept the "noreply@cooleasypost"
posting confirmation emails. (This email is our outgoing confirmation
emails only. No one will receive replies back if you contact us using this
email.)
Q. My post will not submit !
Everything looks ok, yet it says there is an error?
A. Check your email address on the post form. Sometimes
there is a typo there that causes this. Make sure you did not add a space at
end or beginning of it .. Take the space out and you should be good to
resubmit. Otherwise, take another look at your main posting
areas title, description, posting area, and/make sure you have check agreement
box at end of form.
Q: Why
do categories run different time frames ?
A. Most of our postings are rotated off within a 30 day period.
We do have areas that last longer or shorter than 30 days, depending on
the category topic. Information
exchanges run much longer and are global.
Q. Another user is
harassing me?
A. We will be offering a log-in "black
list" for members to use in the further so that another
member can not IM or answer your post. Until then we
will also be putting constant troublemakers on our site page
"BlackList".
Q. I can not log back into the IM or
chat-room. What do I do?
A. We are aware of this issue and will be working on
it. TRY THIS: wait a few minutes, then try to log back in. If it
continues to say your already
logged in and yet you can not get in, clear your
browser cookies, wait a minutues, then refresh the page. That will generally take care of this issue.
